Senior scientist at one of Japan’s largest public research organisations allegedly disclosed data on fluorine compound to a Chinese chemical manufacturer
A Chinese researcher at one of the largest public research organisations in Japan has been accused of leaking sensitive technological information to a Chinese company. Quan Hengdao, who is a 59-year-old senior scientist researcher at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), was arrested in Tokyo on 15 June for allegedly disclosing research data on fluorine compounds to the Chinese chemical manufacturer.
