Three US juries side with cancer victims over Bayer on Roundup

A jury in Philadelphia, US, has ordered Bayer unit Monsanto to pay $175 million (£144 million) in damages to a non-Hodgkins lymphoma patient who claimed the company failed to warn about known carcinogens in its glyphosate-based herbicide Roundup. That 27 October jury verdict followed a decision a week earlier by a separate jury in St Louis to award $1.25 million in damages to another man with the same type of cancer.
